6 Good Reasons To Hit Up A B & B Vacation

Are you looking for a reason to get away from the grind of your daily routine but can’t really come up with one? Well then try a little harder! There are a ton of “reasons” you can use to get away and spend a weekend or a whole week at a Bed and Breakfast. Some of these “excuses” are for couples, yet a single person or a family can go to a B & B and have a great time. Get out your pencil and start thinking of some reasons why you want to get away…then reword them to be reasons why you need to get away!

Anniversary

This is probably obvious, since romance is usually associated with Bed and breakfast stays. The rooms are usually quieter, cozier and full of ambiance a hotel can’t provide. Whether it is your first or your fifteenth, a B & B room can be a nice little surprise.

Girl’s Weekend Away

What a great idea, to take your BFFs and get away, where someone ELSE wakes up in the morning to cook you breakfast. The girls can each have their own room or you can double up and make it a pajama party for everyone. Depending on the region where you are staying, you could go on a wine tour, make it a crafting weekend or a shopping excursion. Look around the area and see what it has to offer.

Birthday

Your birthday, your souse’s, your friend’s, your child’s…a birthday is cause for a celebration. When you have grown up and beyond the cake and candles, make it a getaway opportunity. See new places and explore regions for your birthday. You can still have that cake too, just in a different location!

Family Trip

Bed and Breakfasts aren’t just for couples. Many also have suites or adjoining rooms where kids can stay next to their parents. Everyone gets to eat breakfast the next day too. Having someone else get breakfast ready is one more thing to cross off your to-do list when you are getting everybody up and ready for a day of adventure.

Surprise someone you love with a night away to celebrate a job promotion. They must have worked hard to get it, so a reward is in store. Make it a weekend away and let them take a breather before getting back to the grind in their new role.

When a person retires, that usually means they have spent the last 30 years or more doing a fine job of something. Show your support or honor the person with a vacation to a Bed and Breakfast. The trip could be for your parent, your spouse, a friend or even a co-worker you will miss in the future.
